  • A comment on Talk: David Bismark: E-voting without fraud

Nov 11 2010: I am sorry to say that David, but this system will favor the "vote buyers", at least here in Brazil. The vote buying process goes like this: A guy gives an amount of money to the voter to vote in candidate X. The voter goes to the voting booth. In the ordinary voting system, he can vote in the candidate he received money from or any other he wants. When he puts the vote form in the ballot, the "buyer" can not check who the voter has really voted for.
By the system you presented, he will request the voters receipt and make the voter check in his presence who the voter voted for!!! This will smash the secrecy of the voting system
What do you have to say about this situation?
