Would a world without emotions better?
I understand there are some good emotions but just imagine a world without emotion that would just let people think rationally with everything. Yes there would be loss of love- the most powerful emotion in my opinion- but if we all though rationally won't most if not all the problems of today not exist. I would not favour outlawing emotions because that is just stupid, everybody relies both on their rationality (don't know if that is a word) and emotioins. So if such a law was passed on it will have to be controlled by robots or somthing that is emotionless.

Would a world without emotions better?
I had just recently read the Uglies series. The books are of people with only "good" emotions but my point here is not to well to simplify it get rid of the bad emotions. I think one leads to other so theefore it would be impossible in a way to have only the good emotions without some kind of mind control. Which would not be considered ethical by today's society.

But think about why do humans do most of the "bad" things? Is it not because of other emotions such as jelousy etc. I mean yes we would loose the more appreciated emotions like love, happiness etc. but these emotions are possibly the ones that lead to the other emotions.

If it was allowed would an arena with gladiators fighting to the death prove popular in modern times?
I as a teen believe for some reason that it would be accepted to some extent. If regulations were shown as to who could participate and it was totally voluntary there would be a large fanbase. Personally I don't agree as it would encourage violent behavior. Look at WWE, as a child I was so mesmerized by what they could do and usually fought with my brothers. Now that I'm a little more mature I belive that no human being has any right to decide what fate another humans life falls in. Inconclusion I think that this generation as much as we claim to be more sensitive while we sort of deattach ourselves from the more serious global issues, there is this part of some of us that like action in this context. But this is just my opinion.

Men do a terrible job in ruling our world. So it is about time we allow women to rule instead and see if they can do a better job.
I don't think it may be possible now as more women may be educated but its still mostly in the ways of thinking of males. But I think that if more women were more independent in a way that the influence of men won't affect them so much and in that way have new ideas on most things and hey even possibly find the meaning of life! But firstly women need to gain more confidence and follow their own ideas and not those implied by men.

I agree to some extent but I think not much will change as these womwn will have the pressure to act powerfull and be like how men have for centuries defined the qualities a leader should have. What should change is that equality should first be established and with that new ways of thinking, new definitions of what makes a great leader will emerge. AND by equality I mean for both women and men. Women should see men as their equal and not expect them to pay on a date or basically the little things they won't admitt to. Same thing with men they shouldn't look down on women because of their periods etc. and well all the other little things. Equality is key here! But personaly I think women would do a better job as long as they aren't influenced by *men* ideas they would do great.
