Jared Wilmer Posted 3 months ago Marco Annunziata: Welcome to the age of the industrial internet Agggghhh... SKYNET is real!!! But seriously, if simply being able to run fiber optic cable through the sewer system can bring on the "internet revolution" what will be the next catalyst? The real question is: Is it more important to develop the technology that will allow us to minimize loss of productivity than simply unplugging and looking around and seeing the social issues that plague the entire globe? To express it in different way: Would you rather have the ability to instantly send information through a basic human action such as speaking or even blinking or would your rather focus your time and resources on those people that are only looking for a meal or a place of shelter? In technology we abandon the inefficient. Do we also abandon the "inefficient" of humanity?
