Jeff is an Enterprise Strategist for MicrosoftÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Worldwide Enterprise Partner Group. In this capacity since 2005, Jeff specializes in developing enterprise strategies for client computing. Jeff is one of the key architects of Consumerization of IT and MicrosoftÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Flexible Workstyle Strategy, which has redefined how enterprise customers architect client and application deployment. He is also responsible for delivering customer feedback to the Windows Client, Terminal Services, Virtualization and Enterprise Management product group executives during Monthly Business Review meetings. As a ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œtop gunÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â for MicrosoftÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s client computing technologies, Jeff is frequently requested by account teams around the globe to provide subject matter expertise in securing key enterprise sales opportunities. Jeff regularly travels the world presenting technical and strategy sessions at customer locations and conferences such as ITForum, TechEd, TechReady, and Microsoft Global Exchange. Jeff has opened many keynote speeches around the world, and has delivered over 800 sessions at the Executive Briefing Center at Microsoft headquarters. He has been honored with the Executive Briefing CenterÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Prestigious Speaker Award for three consecutive years and has received numerous awards and accolades for his performance excellence.
During JeffÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s six previous years with Microsoft, he worked for the Microsoft Technology Centers, delivering envisioning and architectural design sessions to Fortune 500 companies. Jeff also worked for Microsoft Learning as a Software Design Engineer, where he designed and wrote courseware that empowered IT Pros to design and deploy Windows Clustering, Windows XP, Windows Server and Active Directory solutions. Jeff began his career with Premier Support as a Technical Account Manager, acting as liaison between enterprise customers and the product groups to resolve technical issues.
Jeff brings over 20 years of experience from the information technology industry. Prior to Microsoft, Jeff was an IT director for Pacifica Hospital in Southern California and a Senior Consultant for Vanstar, a North American consulting firm.
Jeff is a graduate of California State University Fullerton with a degree in Business Administration. His boy/girl twins are finishing college this year and his younger daughter will start at a university next year. On weekends in the winter months, Jeff takes to the slopes as a professional ski instructor at Alpental Mountain. In summer months, he enjoys a brisk cycle to work.
