I am Head of School at Sotogrande International School, in the CÃ¡diz province of the south of Spain. SIS is a full-continuum IB World School, serving a local and expatriate population along the Costa del Sol and in the Campo de Gibraltar.
Prior to my tenure at Sotogrande Intl School, I have over fifteen years of experience as a history teacher, technology coordinator, IT director and deputy headl in US schools and international schools. I most recently served as the Associate Head of School at Washington International School, where I oversaw information technology, library services, media, data management, and 21st century curriculum and professional development.

Actively involved in the international school community, I serve as chair of the Professional Learning & Action Research Committee for the European Council of International Schools. I am on the teaching faculty of the Principals' Training Center for International School Leadership as well, where I co-teach the course on Technology Leadership.
I am a Trustee of the Kindred Project, a NGO registered in Gibraltar that uses service learning, active capacity-building, microfinance and coordination of charity to areas in Morocco, Uganda, India and elsewhere.
