Jennifer Nykanen Posted 9 months ago Peter Attia: Is the obesity crisis hiding a bigger problem? He's looking at Conditional Insulin Resistance in relation to obesity and diabetes. There is another type that is Receptor Defective Insulin Resistance. No amount of weight loss changes receptor defective insulin resistance. My hope is that Attia's research on conditional I.R. will also hold some answers for Receptor Defective I.R. I have no doubt that our diet is killing us. Bacteria is more resistant to medication and that followed not long after we started injecting our cows with antibiotics as a preventive measure. GHb used to force greater milk production passes through the milk to our children, resulting in earlier puberty. The only other countries to allow the use of GHb are third world countries and they are experiencing the same problems. Through time and the overuse of corn (America produces more corn than any other country, most of it only useable as livestock feed and ethanol.) we've killed the nutritional value of our meat sources. We've altered the genetic make up of our vegetables and now are consuming small amounts of pesticide everyday. That's not even taking into account that no study was conducted to see if they were safe to consume. Down the road we are easily looking at consequences we could have prevented if only we had taken greater care.
