If certain scientific laws remain consistent, is reincarnation / rebirth logical?
Physical law is the methods we use to understand what we perceive and how various observations (generally) co-exist. Mathematics and measurement are just one of the many ways to better understand and document these relationships, why then would it be absurd to apply these to the energy of our consciousness. There are many ways to view and translate what we perceive, and we use these various tools to help in our understanding. I don't see why measurement should be ruled out when trying to better understand our place in the world we perceive?

However, if the universe is infinite in nature, over time, there would statistically (no matter how minuscule) be a time when the universe will collapse on itself forcing planets to collide and there will me another (out of million, billions, trillions of big bangs) when the energy originally from the soil your body, brain, ext will reform into another being. I personally have a lot of trouble envisioning this being that we as humans are programmed to think in a linear patter based on time with our lives taking place between conception and death. The thing that baffles me though, is if energy is infinite, no matter how small the probability is, or how long it takes, every possible occurrence that can take place across the infinite plane will take place. I have never heard of anything similar to this mentioned, or even disputed, and struggle to figure out whether it is a problem in my understanding of physics, or a valid idea.

The military are necessary?
It is a utopian idea, but logically in my opinion, the people residing within a certain community need to right to defend their ideals against tyranny. As humans develop greater empathy the need to use these weapons may cease as we find ourselves dealing with situations logically. Defense is vital to peace, there are many illogical ideals and a wide array of unique differences from culture to culture. Without defense and citizens having the right to protect themselves, the illogical communities suffering from their ideals and social structure, will resolve their economic, social, or political problems through the theft of the resources to keep control of their power. It is not weapons that are the problem but the people who use them. If the whole world understood the fundamental principles of peace, and worked to develop rather than steal, it wouldn't matter if each person in the world had a gun or bomb. Restricting access to weapons does nothing but create an underground black market for the few irrational people focused on stealing from other areas rather than be a productive member of a peaceful society, and it would be much cheaper and easier to take down an un-armed community than one with the resources to defend their peaceful ideals. Think about it like this, if i walk into a grocery store (a business developed to provide a wide variety of products at a cheaper price) and i decide to steal a candy bar (an action which is going to force prices to increase to some degree and does not benefit the community what so ever) i am much more likely to steal it from a store with a single, unarmed clerk, than a store with a security guard, alarm system, and surveillance camera's.

Why do we like watching TV and movies when we know it's all fake?
I believe it's because it plays on our natural curiosity. We as humans want to understand different situations and how in those situations other people respond to them. Much like a dream, i think stories and TV help show alternative ways characters handle themselves and their popularity is based on the shows applicability. The more relevant a show or movie is too our lives / a lifestyle we wish to live, the more we want to understand and apply it.
