M. J. Penny is a copywriter, researcher and editor living in Merseyside in the UK. Born and bred in Liverpool, a mongrel of Welsh and Italian descent, M. J. has supplied press releases, ghosted and generally provided industries, politicians and companies with something to say....but saying very little herself.
She likes banana butties, Martinis and cheese and onion crisps. Her favourite authors are Gillian Flynn, Stephen Leather, William Golding, Dmitry Glukhovsky and Joseph Heller. When she's not writing or researching, M.J. likes watching T.V. comedies, especially British ones like 'Father Ted' and ËœRed Dwarf'.
A bit of a geek, she loves designing websites and apps and has been known to disappear for days when she gets stuck into a project. Her pet hates are corrupt politicians, political spin and when the butter has been left out on the kitchen counter.
Her first publishing project ËœThe Human Machine' was released this year and is available now on Amazon. Her new novel ËœThe Alchemist's Prayer is due to be released in October 2013. She lives with her family, a dog and a marmoset monkey called Alfie
Life and people and the things that make them who they are. I love good literature, like non-judgmental people and friends who make me laugh and smile.
Let's start at the beginning, Let's start with tomorrows society, with our children. Instead of teaching them what to think, let's teach them how to think. There is no child born with a piece of paper in their hand telling them who they are and who they will grow up to be. Teach them that they can be what they want to be, not what society tells them to be, that they are born in Freedom, teach them to demand better from their society, to keep their minds open and alert, to filter beliefs and propaganda and to think for themselves.
