Richard Sussan Posted over 1 year ago Ken Robinson: How schools kill creativity I have taught Biological Sciences at the College and University levels for over 45 years. Unfortunately, because of time constraints there is no ability to explore tangential material, posit questions, hypothesize answers and just have some 'fun'. We ask students to bend over and we insert an oversize suppository of data into them, hoping that half is retained. We need to re-think existing paradigms. Why does Anatomy & Physiology for Allied Health Science students have to be only 2 semesters ? Why does medical school have to be 4 years, why not 2 or 3 years ? We are locked in to archaic ways of doing things that do not serve us well in 2013 and beyond.
