A comment on Talk: Peter Tyack: The intriguing sound of marine mammals

Mar 5 2013: I think marine mammals are the best evolved species on earth. Unlike us they live in harmony with nature. They only need a few percent of their time to hunt for food, the rest of the time they can play or use for other interesting behavior. They are very intelligent and need sound to communicate and orientate.

We humans still behave like a group of bacteria’s consuming and reproducing until there is no more food left and we all die in our own pollution. Saving these animals will help save ourselves.

Feb 17 2013: Up to this talk I never realised how big the symbiotic reletionship is we have with bacteria. With antibiotics losing effectiveness this is great research, and very well presented.
