Rob Legato: The art of creating awe
Titanic part was amazing, really smooth transition from real to model. But I was kinda disappointed in Hugo as a film and this shot is a good example. I felt like I was watching a show-off for a 3D technology, all of this seemed so artificial and over-polished, as if it was all green-screened, even the boy himself.

Beth Noveck: Demand a more open-source government
It's so awkward to listen to this talk. It's presumed here that government tries to improve itself to work better for society, but just does it too slow. And in civilized countries that might be so, but for a person living in Russia this sounds so alien. Here government seems to keep seeking ways to isolate itself from people as much as possible. And we definitely don't use wiki to write laws. P.S. And speaking from personal experience, no matter how hard Sberbank tries on the outside - this organization's interior is a book example of anti-innovation. They probably saved this billion dollars from cutting off on employees bonuses.
