As a Tokyo-based technology entrepreneur, I have the pleasure of working with a new breed of technology integration professionals. Heavy focus on leveraging mobile collaboration tools to change learning environments in the Design, Media and Education fields dovetails with our team's "for more than profit" approach to working with thought-leading institutions.
Continually involved with community projects at home and abroad, my long-time technical backing of non-profit projects in Laos, Special Needs schools in Tokyo, the Cambodia Schools project and most recently TEDxTokyo provide an outlet to give back in gratitude for our steady growth and success.
Initially the release of the TED Talks were a landmark event for me as it meant I was able to spend more time in Japan with my family while still continuing to access the ideas and thought processes of this whole new world. Now, I am even more excited as I see the explosive growth of the TEDx projects worldwide. This movement coupled with subtitled translations, interpretations and content in many languages enables me to share great ideas with my non-English speaking colleagues, friends and mentors worldwide.
Looking forward to more exciting times as this era of creation, collaboration and sharing has only just begun.
