A comment on Conversation: Do you learn the basics to make it in life at school or on your own?

Jan 15 2013: I agree with TED lover, best things i have learned throughout the years wasn't at school. It was going out, experiencing the world, making mistakes and learning from them.
  • A comment on Conversation: What is your favorite quote, and why?

Jan 15 2013: Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.
    Why? because it's true.

A comment on Conversation: if you had the power to go back in time, would you change something about your life?

Jan 15 2013: No, I think I am exactly where I should be in my life.
  • A comment on Conversation: Do you believe in extraterrestrial life?

Jan 13 2013: I defiantly believe in extraterrestrials. I find it hard to believe that we are the only planet with life! The universe is massive there just has to be something else out there.

A comment on Conversation: If you could jump in to the future and see one thing for yourself now, what would that be ?

Jan 12 2013: I'd like to see if peace, war and racism were no longer an issue. I'd like to believe that the world would be a nicer place to live in in many years to come.
  • A comment on Talk: David Perry: Are games better than life?

Jan 12 2013: Video games are a good thing and how well they are coming along. I always hear about video games having negative impacts but it's not always the case.
Games are better than the real world, in a game you can be who and what you want and no-one can tell you differently. With most games, it explains what you have to do and achievements you could get, this saves so much confusion & it's easy to set your sights on a specific goal. in the real world we have so many options on what to do with our lives, people just don't know where to start.
  • A comment on Talk: Daphne Bavelier: Your brain on video games

Jan 9 2013: Hello. I'm 19 years old and a big gamer..I play a variety of different kinds of games not only action. I played a game called World of Warcraft for about 4 years. This is a on-line game with millions of players. You create a character and level it up, doing quests along the way with adventures.
During this time I enjoyed collecting items within the game to be most fun..one of these items was a rare tiger that almost never dropped. You could only kill the enemy that dropped this tiger once every 3 days. It took me 135 attempts to get it, which was a 405 day wait. I had the attitude of "it has to drop eventually, right?".
What I'm trying to say is this really proved my patience & determination towards something I really want. I only wish I could put that much enthusiasm into something more productive.
