More About Me

An idea worth spreading

Companies working as cooperatives. It is not a new idea nor is my idea but I like it. Basically all workers have equally shares of the company, one worker - one vote. Evidently that is ruled and the payoffs for each worker come according to their index of responsibility in the company. Furthermore this kind of companies shared tech, research + development, resources, workers, investments, insurances, health , etc between them. The earnings contribute to improve social areas as education (university, schools...), health, social welfare, culture, sports...in each local area.

People don't know that I'm good at

Nothing... more I learn more I realize that I know less.

My TED Story

He never stopped. After Spanish civil war a priest who worked in a little town, lived worried because people had no work, in brief, no future. But he didn't stop... he founded an appliances company to fix two needs: work and general lack of appliances. Another problem: financing, but the banks didn't give any credit. To fix this problem... he founded a bank...Another problem: workers health and social welfare.... then he founded an health insurance, social security... Another problem: They were a lot of workers but not specialized... then... he founded tech schools and university.... Another problem: woman have no place in the work world... then he founded companies to give opportunities to the women.... Another problem... Another action... But he founded something more important: Seed so that others thousands of people will never Stop. He shaped that we know as cooperativeness. He never was rich as money talking but he gave cooperative richness to the world. J.M. Arizmendiarrieta.

  • A comment on Conversation: Do elite private schools have a responsibility to improve local public schools?

Mar 20 2013: Public schools should be the benchmark for others and always be above the private education. To achieve that goal is necessary to invest in education. Private schools don't have this responsibility because the fact is that they are private and they only have responsibilty to their "customers" and "shareholders". Besides, is better for both parts to collaborate to improve them and their environment.
  • A comment on Conversation: What challenges do feminist artists face in contemporary society?

Mar 11 2013: Hello, in my opinion, one big challenge would be to change your introduction; you have written a very meaningful introduction, seem to want to emphasize that you are different and that often leads to inequality. One thing is to be different that all we are, and other is right to equality that e.g. women don't have around the world.
My point is that you are an artist and should be treated "only" as an artist and for the rest of us should not matter if you are woman, man, gay, black, white etc.. and as an artist you will express different ideas through your art, that could be about women, feminist, and other totally different topics... out of artist you are a person, the sexual gender could be important only when forming a couple and its only problem for the couple itself.
Relative to shamefull comments always exist in all areas and we have to catch only constructive criticism that help us to improve, the cheap criticism without critera and only made to harm must be ignored.
Sadly there is much work to achieve equality for women and we have to wait many waves.

Mar 8 2013: You have explained it well about "control" word, I was trying to extend the comment because it is an interest point.

I mean, more good actions sow, get better harvest (moreless explained)

A comment on Conversation: How many languages is it possible to know?

Mar 8 2013: The language is a tool for communication, relationship and making it part of the culture of people.
I speak basque, spanish, english and french and for me is important to try to learn even a little the language of the place you are visiting or people who you are meeting so is a way to show interest and respect for other cultures and enrich oneself. Multiculture is something nice and rich and global world should not mean lost identity but an opportunity to improve.
I would like to learn arabic, chinese or japanese languages totally different to mine... I try with german but... no time enough...

A reply on Conversation: Do we really care for others or just think we do?

Mar 8 2013: I do not intend to control anyone, only know a little bit about people and mainly think aboutIf i don't help others when I need help I can not receve it as I have not invested in it...
I agree, trying to give a good example may be contagious, especially when we act in the sight of children we can educate them in this way.

A reply on Conversation: Do we really care for others or just think we do?

Mar 8 2013: I have the feeling that we aid in general but only when does not involve an effort. E.g. when there is a a campaing to raise money to charity or difirent projects above all in third world many people donate a lot of money... is necessary and good think, but when there are campaings to donate blood, bone marrow donation, handicapped and elderly care, promoting activities for children etc, all matters involving time, effort and a little bit of dedication, curiosly people disappear or present different excuses.

Mar 6 2013: ... another interesting and diferent point... guys that fight in wars, is a very nice topic to treat apart. I must do a lot of questions to myself...

... Usually they are forced to fight and as war rots everything they end commiting atrocities, perhaps the soldiers think that they are fighting for a better world or for a good cause and they feel like that , but they that give them orders have other plans and use wars and soldiers to their bussiness...
  • A comment on Conversation: What would be the objective if all were equally productive?

Mar 6 2013: Big problem itself is if human kind doesn't know what to do when is free or has no basic necessities. There are a lot of fields to work: Tech, health, family life, amusement, discover the earth and universe... etc everything that makes us live better and be happier have place in a project.
  • A reply on Conversation: Do we really care for others or just think we do?

Mar 6 2013: That is a good point, how much responsability a person is willing to take.. Speaking about they that do, sometimes we think and believe that we have taken a lot of responsibility. E.g. we give money to charity (good thing), we are happy and feel good (good thing) ... but that's all. We are not worried how is invested that money, we are not worried if there are another ways to help, are we really worried ...?

A reply on Conversation: Do we really care for others or just think we do?

Mar 6 2013: Hello, Instead give all my money to charity, I think that is enough give part of my earns to develop projects that help people to be self sufficient and have a goog quality of life.
But there are things that money can not fix. E.g. there are a lot of elderly that sometimes only need someone to speak or to share a coup of coffee, undoubtedly any little bit piece of charity fix with money is good but sometimes we forget friendship, love, ... spent some time with them because is easier spent money.
