A comment on Conversation: How much of a right do students have to questioning and independent thinking?

Jan 10 2013: Simple, students should be able to question anything they want. Creativity and imaginative thinking allow for a more engaged way of intrepreting ideas.
A reply on Conversation: If the cure for cancer and AIDS really is being developed, how will it impact society's willingness to live healthy lifestyles?

Jan 7 2013: I had no intention of implying that AIDS results from an unhealthy behavior. I simply included it to further this discussion about how a cure for these devistating diseases could have an effect on society as a whole.

Jan 6 2013: If this cure becomes a success, will it give people a sense of complacency? Will society shift to an even more unhealthy way of life?
