What exactly is it that a conductor does?
It costs much money and effort when we need great interpretation, decision making and juggling of all problems, and even it is not easy to guarantee quality gaining the benefits against the cost. Here, we need a conductor because he/she is the most sophisticated, so plays a crucial and efficient role in the work and performance of an orchestra. That's the bottom line. Moreover, it is related to a concept, 'group.' For a perfect performance, personal taste, opinion, and point of view are sometimes neglected under joint agreement. Again, we need conductor as a leader, guide, and instructor. I'm not a specialist in this area, so I feel sorry that I cannot explain it exactly. All I know is a conductor plays a vital role in the performance:).

What attributes lead to universal happiness?
Above all things, satisfying is one of the essential parts for pure happiness. Satisfying, so to speak, with myself, what I have, people around me, and situation is the crucial aspect for happy life in my opinion. It doesn't mean we can settle for the present and don't need to progress at all. I'm just saying that we cannot reach true happiness if we attempt too much beyond our capabilities. I am happy when I do what I want to do. I guess everyone thinks like that, but we know that we must do many things we do not desire to do in life. Someone once told me that we should do nine things that we have to do for one thing that we want to do. Therefore, striking a balance between what we must do and what we want to do is also important for true happiness. I cannot define the word like "LOVE" and "PEACE,' which is abstract and invisible, but I am sure that such concepts are vital. It's hard to talk about it to me... Thank you for giving me the chance to think about this question:) Is there any motive or reason that makes you think about this question, if you don't mind me asking?

How can we help a person who lacks motivation or does not know what (s)he wants?
I am not sure that I understand what you mean by that, but I'll try to answer properly:). I love your thinking and attitude to help others. Many thoughtful people already answered very well, so I just want to talk about a teenager with lack of experience. First of all, we can help teenagers with lack of experience figure out what they really enjoy through experience. Once we provide them with opportunities to experience different types of tasks, they come to think of what they like and dislike, and decide what to do. Secondly, counseling is helpful as we know. The teenager isn't an active client in this case, so we should be more careful when we try to make them(passive client) consult special counselors. If personal counseling program makes him/her feel uncomfortable, we can set up group counseling appropriately. It is good to put the client in contact with other people in a similar position, because they feel encouraged and comforted. Lastly, we can let them assist other people in need, such as the elderly, orphans, and addicts. Within the course to help those people, adolescents with lack of experience and motivation come to realize that there are many people in need and they also can help someone, so they have the possibility, hope and potential. The bottom line is the chance to think about themselves and realize like that. Is there any motive or reason that makes you think about this question, if you don't mind me asking?

Do humans find it easier to hate than to love?
Fortunately, the region where I lived has passed recent years quietly without any big events. People here are more interested in neighbors, generous than elsewhere and willing to help each other well. Besides, there is a ratio of seven elderly adults to three young people in this area, so it is good for adolescents to learn great wisdom such as how to be kind, polite, and considerate, etc. Therefore I was referring to changes elsewhere rather than where I grew up, strictly speaking. I am not so sure if I answered appropriately and relevantly. I hope I didn't offend you:)

Do humans find it easier to hate than to love?
Have you heard about Republic of Korea(South Korea), if you don't mind me asking? I live in Korea. As I know, people all over the world didn't know well about Korea only a few years ago. However, this country has had a high profile in recent years thanks to the incumbent president of USA. According to up-to-date articles, he talked about the education fervor that contributed to Korea's rapid economic development in recent decades. Oh, I feel sorry that I make a long-winded explanation. Anyway, there are big cities like Seoul or Pusan, which are major population centers in Korea, but the place where I grew up is totally different from them. I've grown up in rural area, which is sparsely populated and not developed well and cultured. Even so, I have more or less negative point of view toward the condition of this world and changes of people, because of the articles about unpleasant events, great and small, all over the world including this country I live. For instance, there have been the so called "Murder of Do not ask why." A guy walking along the street and hearing the laughter through a certain house felt like, 'Why the hell do they feel happy? I'm so distressed!' Without any rational reason, he murdered the whole family. It was just because he guessed he must be the unluckiest person alive and the world didn't care. Moreover, there were several shooting incidents around the world. I concluded that when people feel a sense of frustration and stressed, they don't put any limits on expressing those feelings anymore in distorted way and the wrong direction. I am grieved whenever I think of the victims then and there.

Do humans find it easier to hate than to love?
Humans are getting worse in my opinion. In my case, I've grown up in rural area and the condition of the place where I lived was remarkably better rather than nowadays. People were more generous, patient than people these days, and at least polite and respectful to each other only 10 years ago. My mother used to tell me they even couldn't imagine the events such as weird murder, sexual assault, and any other crimes at that time, but the situation has changed until now. There have always been the good around us, but the rate of them is declining. As you know, the world is rapidly changing and people strive to survive and gain profits for themselves keeping pace with that, and they are more self-centered than before. This environmental aspects influence on people in a bad way, so people are getting worse, and vice versa... Here, vicious circle occurs... I am far from pessimist, but I am sure that we humans are getting worse.

Debate: Are humans better than other forms of life?
I guess we have no absolute basis that Humans are superior to other forms of life. Humans just have different kind of abilities from other's. Animals are well adapted to the nature itself innately, for instance, they have more greater physical abilities such as excellent sight and muscular strength than Humans. By comparison, Humans are born without specific physical capabilities, so to speak, which protect own body from environmental hazards. Instead, Humans have superior brain and create tools with mental superiority to protect themselves. Let us suppose that both Humans and animals would be neglected in a state of nature without any manipulation. I guess we would come to realize that Humans are more fragile than other forms of life literally and figuratively. However, I am afraid that Humans have never thought so. Unfortunately, animals are mistreated and abused by Humans and their coarse selfishness. I think we should not overlook the point that all Humans are also parts of Mother Nature, that is Humans are not more than Nature and Cosmos. Eventually, symbiosis is possible when both Humans and other forms of life go together, and that is the best we can hope for. Thank you for this chance to think about. Is there any motive that makes you have this question, if you do not mind my asking:)?

We can develop the world through images.
I totally agree with you:) It is very common that mastering mother tongue at an early age in the country where I live. For example, I do not mean to show off, but I learned to speak and use my mother tongue when I was four years old. People living in this country easily approach to text and study, so most people are literate. However, learning through images are probably much more efficient and productive in the country with, more or less, a lot of illiterate people. (I hope you do not misunderstand my words, because I've never had biased perspective about people who are illiterate.) I also agree with the idea, "Images are always received and processed faster than text." Visual impressions through images have a great influence on us, rather than sense of taste, hearing, or touch. I am so impressed, in that you have a lot of concern for the society, world, people, and situations around us. Images have been used for centuries, but I agree with your idea that they should be used in places where they could be effective, as you said. I love your adorable and progressive opinions. By the way, if you do not mind my asking, is there any specific way in your mind?

What are the primary responsibilities of parents and school? What are that of student?
I think the three objects have own responsibilities respectively. First of all, the family should inculcate proper and healthy values in children and lead them to act morally and ethically. Children are prepared to face a variety of problems through the step. Next, the parents can send their children to school and make them to learn a lot of things, such as the class on curriculum or relationship with friends and teachers. There is a limit to the degree of school's achievement that we can expect. So it is wise for parents not to ask for school too much. Lastly, children were obliged to obey parents in my opinion, because parents think and behave for their children and their best convenience. I appreciate this chance to participate in. I hope I didn't offend you:)
