This MadMan started his advertising career at Saatchi & Saatchi Compton, New York in 1985 thinking he would eventually receive a master’s degree and work steadily for one of its clients. Instead, the master was Saatchi where he thrived on all things “advertising.”
Moved to Grey New York in 1989 and was sent off on his international career in 1991 to help Grey Madrid launch new clients. Off to London in 1994. In 1997 joined the partners of Jotabequ, the Grey affiliate agency in Central America as partner.
In 2002 he accepted to lead Grey’s operation in Mexico growing it to be the largest in the region.
From 2009 to 2012 led Grey’s 19 operations in Latin America from Sao Paulo regional HQ offices. +35% revenue growth, region contributing to 25% of all of Grey's Creative awards, driver of major Planning and Digital initiatives.
Riccardo feels lucky to have worked with some of the best clients and organizations in the world, at one of the best agencies in the business. Clients include CPC International, Kraft General Foods, P&G, BAT, Glaxo Smithkline, Novartis, Gerber, Quaker Oats, Volvo, Porsche, SEAT, 3M, Santander Bank, Abbott Laboratories, Pfizer, SONY Playstation, Diageo, ING, Mercedes-Benz, Heineken, amongst others.
Born in Genova, Italy and moved to Cincinnati in 1976 were he completed his studies at the University of Cincinnati in 1985, majoring in Economics.
