Can anyone prove the existence of a supernatural deity?
Science has no way to measure the supernatural. Science has been developed to discover the mysteries of the universe, but there is no way to properly test certain things and this is an accepted fact in many scientific communities. Supernatural events may not be testable at the moment, but there is still the possibility that some day we may be able to track the power of prayer or something else supernatural. Both you and I have no way of developing proof for the existence of non-existence of certain supernatural entities so it falls on us to pick what we believe or do not believe. There are many things we know exist, but have not yet discovered such as how to measure where tornadoes develop. Someday we will find a way to measure these things utilizing science, but to this point we are stuck theorizing.

How do YOU define philosophy?
Philosophy is the ability to draw the line in the sand and justify beliefs using simple or complex methods. Philosophy utilizes pseudo- scientific methodology and in many ways when philosophy transcends to science it is the highest tribute towards the creator.

Will the absence of Religion make the world more peaceful ?
Religion is a philosophical following; the world without religion is no more peaceful than the world with religion. Religion has inspired some of the greatest advances, but has also led to the suppression of great ideas. I think religions around the world are going through tough opposition, but their purpose is to create a community. Individualism and personal identity are important but people forget it is impossible to live a life of isolation. Religion serves the purpose of building communities and uniting people a difficult task that many businesses and social events attempt to replicate.

Palestine as a non-member observer state?
I understand it takes a security council vote to have any legal value, but the fact is it changes how the Middle Eastern debate points are formulated. Now all countries that may see Israel as a threat have a valid reason for establishing a support line to the areas worst impacted. This move could cause tension between a lot of countries.

What are some big social issues that need to be discussed, but aren't?
I am not aware if this is brought up a lot but there is a large sex slave issue globally in which thousands are affected. I am from the United States and there is a large slavery problem of our own concerning how our prison utilizes inmates for cheap or near free labor. The prison item is up for debate, but I think sex slavery and human smuggling are unmentioned by a great many political and social outlets.

Should school exams be abolished?
Pure meritocracy is not existent in any civilizations. We have aspects of meritocracy in some countries, but we still suffer from a strong caste and class system in every country. I agree that exams are necessary, but I think the matter in which we test our students is flawed. I do not think exams should abolished but rather transformed to better fit the students and teachers.

Debate: Are humans better than other forms of life?
Humans are indeed superior; however we are creatures of habit and not efficiency. I do not believe our superior nature means we have to be callous toward other life forms, but I think that our role on earth has in many ways helped to shape the earth in a positive way. We are stepping into a new age of science and development where we can rebuild what we have lost and replenish what we have taken. As a superior life form we bear the responsibility of maintaining nature and if we need tilting the odds in favor of species we need to survive.

Debate: Video games are the drug of the century
I will concede that video games are similar to a knife. What can be used to feed a family can also be used to take a life. Video games give far more than they take however in many ways video games are a drug albeit a drug of a therapeutic nature. Video games have been utilized in multiple fields due and have shown signs of effective growth in so many ways. Video games have led to the loss of life on a small scale, but I would challenge the masses to supply something that has or cannot kill in excess. By our very nature when we give in to our temptations with no discipline we are enticing death.

We can develop the world through images.
Art and images have a universal strength, but I think that each culture have pictures and ideals that hit a different cords. This project would need to be streamlined to different cultures for the same idea, which could be very difficult due to different education levels and cultural values in so many parts of the world as I can tell you are aware. I think this idea has great potential, but the man hours needed for redrafting and logistical issues would be consuming. I hope this idea gathers strength because it could really help save so many people. This properly administrated could efficiently produce millions in donations that would be applied properly, but it could also help give a rudimentary to advanced understanding to a population quicker than past efforts.

Telling the truth: are there limits?
The murderer at the door dilemma is difficult to answer. If truth is formed off of facts and there were different facts during WWII two people could be addressing different ideals completely. The Nazi party was convinced that the groups they were hunting were sub human or inferior. The members who bravely protected individuals and groups knew the fact that there is no difference between people. So when the question was asked “are you harboring Jews” or “do you have any extra members in the house” one had multiple facts to choose from when answering. Due to the multiple facts to pick and choose from one could accommodate the Nazi search party by answering “no” due to personal belief that what they were searching for ( an inferior human) does not exist. This is similar to answering no to “Do you have any unicorns in your stable?” Since we know unicorns do not exist, but clearly the party in search does not, answering no is the truth no matter what the party in search has come to believe.
