About Me

Trevor was born in Guelph, Ontario (Canada),and now lives in Stratford,Ontario. He is a father of two young boys. Trevor is a man of faith and deep spiritual convictions. Trevor created the Conversations Café, a website created to discuss the things of faith and life. Trevor is quoted in saying that, "It a place where we can "Create Conversations that Matter." Trevor is a gifted writer and poet. He also enjoys meeting people and is a great conversationalist. Trevor is quoted in saying about himself, "I believe that the mystery of God is difficult to grasp at the best of time. I believe that the basic tenets of the Christian faith provide a backdrop to the answers of the Universe. I believe that God exists, that Jesus was both Human and Divine and that God should be worshiped. I believe that all view points should be considered, I just choose to live from a Christian perspective, it is the culture I was raised in. So it makes sense to me. An idea worth spreading

Belong, Believe, Become is the heart of the Conversations Café and my life. I want to reach out to people who may not attend church or who have had a misguided view of God taught to them or shared with them. I have encountered a lot of people who have a strong believe in God but have a misguided view of the christian perspective of God, most of this is created because often times ( in the evangelical church), when we attend Church we often see a performance based system of how we advance to God. The way I see it and the way a lot of people I have encountered have experienced church and God is in a 3 step process. Believe the right things; behave a certain way then after you have done all this you will be accepted by the Church. Essentially it looks like this:

3. Belong

My TED Story

I an not sure what my TED story is yet, I feel it i s still being writing. Through the Conversations Cafe website and my life. I want to encourage all people to a life of mystery and wonder when it comes to God and spirituality. I believe this is done by surrounding myself with simular minded people but also people that do not share my point of view. It is those people who's life stories inspire me and mold me to be sure of what I believe...that being said...the Story is till being written.
