Edited a business magazine with circulation of more than 1 million. Introduced process improvements for creation and distribution of the magazine. Responsibilities included generating story ideas, coordinating freelance writers, editing copy for content and style, consulting on magazine design and layout, maintaining relationships with clients, writing feature stories, conducting interviews and forging ongoing relationships with industry experts and business leaders, copy editing, fact checking, and coordinating magazine content distribution on the Internet among cross-functional global groups. Generated new business and launched new magazines, developing a core knowledge base in angel investing and venture capital.
