My TED Story

When I was in my post graduation, one day a person from Abbot Industries came to present guest lecture. It is well known fact that students hate such kind of lectures. I was not at all interested to attend that class but with force of my teachers I went into class. He asked us, how many of you know TED.com? no one raised their hands. Then he explained bout it, he said not to waste time in facebook, instead spend your time at TED.com. In evening I started watching ted, I loved it. Now I have all collection of TED.

  A reply on Conversation: Bullied... or ignored. Which is worse?

  5 days ago: I do agree with you Lizanne, It is never someone's fault to get ignored, but people get depressed or some times mentally disturbed especially children because of such activities. I used that phrase 'its not your fault' to alleviate those who faced ignorance.

  May 11 2013: Ignoring a person is worse, its not your fault to get ignored. If an opposite person is ignoring you then he lacks ability to understand you, thats it. !!

  May 9 2013: I agree with your answer, but I read complete life cycle of ascariasis and got an idea. It was written in one article that 5% phenol or cresol inhibits growth of larvae. If we kill this larvae in intestine, then it doesn't lays eggs by which we cn eliminate contamination and further spreading of disease

  Nov 30 2012: I would like to say that, "technology is the reason" doesn't mean that again we have to go back to jungle. Starting from the time we woke up till we go back to sleep at least man gets in contact with plastic. Here technology doesn't mean highly engineered techniques, it can be a simple invention which is made of plastic . As a consequence now plastic is causing much problem and in most of the countries plastic is banned.

  Nov 30 2012: Yes sir I agree with your suggestions, I cannot say it as disaster, but its creating harm to human mankind. Yes there are technologies to prevent disasters. My question is continuous usage of technology is creating some harm to man. Suppose, man has invented cellphones to communicate, but no one bothers about the radiation which is effecting them. Like wise there are many drawbacks on which I am focusing

  A comment on Talk: Daphne Bavelier: Your brain on video games

  Nov 20 2012: It was really an interesting talk, but I think one point is missing that is ADDICTION to play video games. Most of children get addicted to play video games daily. Obviously at last it will result in laziness.
