I am a single mom, college student, practicing a new understanding of responsibility to this planet, in love with science (though my education has really only just begun), etc... My dominating concerns as a parent lie in helping my child, in the ways that I see that I can, to grow into a healthy, well, well-adapted, teachable, compassionate, spiritual, contributing, independent, community member. Though there are many more adjectives and verbs I could put there, I'll keep it brief. Being a mother has changed everything and ever giving me more and more direction. I am going to school to become a K-5 teacher (and I'm thinking about an emphasis on alternative methods of teaching). You know when something just clicks? Well, kids are it for me. I think kids deserve people who click with kids in their lives, I know it made a significant difference in my world. Though home wasn't one of those places, so those spots of sunshine were necessary and welcome. I'll come back later to this and spruce it up and maybe add more, make it a bit more readable!
Learning, being a parent, leading by example, science, spirituality/prayer/meditation, being of maximum service to my higher power and my fellows, recycling/reducing/reusing, teaching (soon)
Anything to do with humility and being teachable. Anything about positive-type parenting. MOST anything to do with science. Anything to do with spirituality. I'll come back to this one too!
See, above, "An idea worth spreading" or "I'm passionate about".
Pausing when agitated. Singing.
Not sure yet :)
