A comment on Conversation: Can we train our intuition to be more effective at solving problems?

Nov 18 2012: Our brain is a super computer, which is always on and active and keep researching. In fact every human being is a researcher. And so are women . Women too are researchers

Once they have a cursory glance at the stranger they get the vibes and can sense that what type of person he or she may be or is.

The answer lies in their nature of easily mixing and mingling with others. They can build relationships easily, or you can say they have good networking skills.

To establish the relationship between the networking skills and intuition, let us travel back in time and go back to the beginning of the civilization when the human life started its journey on this planet earth.

In the good old times when people used to live in caves, during those days men used to go out to hunt for food. While they were busy in their business of hunting animals , back home the women looked after the kids . In their spare times when they would have freed themselves from looking after the kids , women used to interact and communicate with their neighbors. This way they had a good interaction with the other people including grown up kids of others.

This direct interaction with others fed their brains with loads of information about each individual in detail. And their brain did the processing of the information at a lightening speed.

In fact their brain helped them discover and develop new knowledge, which further helped them to develop and boost their intuitive power.

Now, whenever they came across any stranger, their highly developed intuitive power helped them receive vibes about the stranger being interacted. This whole process helped them to sense the nature of the stranger.

In the modern age too, women can mix and mingle with others easily. Their nature of easy interaction with others and the relationship building process is evident in their behavior. This is as valid as This is as valid as it was in the ancient times.

  • A reply on Conversation: Is evolution/religion/everything a self fulfilling prophecy?

Nov 18 2012: Science and Spirituality are the two aspects of the same things. Some religions take the support of science to justify their principles. Though religious people say that they hate science , but the same people use science to justify their religious practices.
  • A comment on Conversation: What are the limitations that keep new educational designs from being implemented tomorrow in schools and especially in higher education?

Nov 18 2012: Current Education System is not a good education system. It is text book based learning system , which is an abstract way of learning and more over it focuses on too much information and also too fast . Which ultimately leads to cramming and learning by rote.

But,The actual learning process is spontaneous and slow..

When I was in class 3 I cam across a word called "Panic" and its meaning was given at the end of the chapter. After reading the meaning I still did not understood the word, Because it has no direct association with the visual image of how a person looks like when he panics, what emotions are visible on the face of the person. All these were missing.

The text book based learning has the drawback , you never know what actually the word means and how it is associated with real things. In text book based learning when you find any word , you often try to find the meaning in the dictionary which ultimately leads to another abstract word. Its like a loop one abstract word point to another abstract word.
  • A reply on Conversation: Shame is a hinderance to education.

Nov 18 2012: Just like we have vegetarians and non-vegetarians , same way "Survival of the Fittest" is still valid for some , and those who are driven by shame for them "Survival of the Shameless" is good. Survival of the Shameless ultimately leads to the Survival of the fittest.
  • A comment on Conversation: Is evolution/religion/everything a self fulfilling prophecy?

Nov 18 2012: Everything including religion and evolution itself is subject to evolution. Even revelation is also subject of evolution.

    Prophecy and Prediction too is subject to evolution. Prophecy and Prediction is a spontaneous , slow and steady process. It has no independent existence.It is not a divine process. It depends on minimum of two factors;

    1. Input seed stimuli
    2. Ecosystem

If suppose a stranger meets a kid and says "You will become a Scientist". Now, what he has done is he has actually planted the seed stimuli in the mind of the kid. Once the mind of the kid receives the seed stimuli,it get activated and starts to work spontaneously , slowly and steadily to make the kid a scientist.

And now whatever the kid does , the parents of the kid too see him through the lens of Scientist. When he writes , they say he writes like a scientist, When he does something they say he behaves like a scientist.

And when the relatives visit them , they tell the whole story to their relatives about the prediction the stranger has made about their kid. The relatives too then start perceiving the kid as scientist.

This way the word spreads out into the ecosystem of the place where he lives. And now the ecosystem too moves in the direction to help the kid become a scientist.

And finally one day the kid becomes a scientist , and the same stranger visits the home of the kid , and Proudly says see my prediction has come true.
  • A comment on Talk: Pamela Meyer: How to spot a liar

Nov 18 2012: Its indeed a good talk on how to spot the liars.

Once I was walking to home from my office , and as I crossed the shop which was on the roadside , I overheard the shopkeeper talking to somebody on the phone . While speaking to the other person on the phone he said "I am not in Jamshedpur, but I am there is Kolkatta".

When I went home and meditated on the lines he spoke over the phone to the other person, I found a amazing thing about his lie. Whenever I have been to Kolkata or Delhi , during that time if somebody used to call me then I have said that "I am in Kolkota or Delhi, I am not in the city". And I found out that most people when they are actually in a certain place they generally say " I am in such and Such place , I am not there."

But, the shopkeeper was clearly telling the lie he said,"I am not in Jamshedpur, I am there in Kolkata".

A comment on Conversation: Shame is a hinderance to education.

Nov 14 2012: Gone are the days of the "Survival of the Fittest", but the modern day slogan should be "Survival of the Shameless". Because one who is the shameless can only survive in this world. For clever people Shame is a tool to belittle and humiliate the other person. This way the clever person forces the other person to feel shame , and when the intensity of the shame increases in the person who has been belittled and humiliated he ends the life through suicide. This way the clever people reduce competition in their life.

A comment on Conversation: Are humans irrational? If so, how can we build stronger institutions to compensate for human shortcomings in rationality?

Nov 14 2012: Human beings are neither irrational nor rational, but they are both. They use rationality to justify their irrational behavior and action.
  • A comment on Conversation: Telling the truth: are there limits?

Nov 14 2012: Tell the truth and lose a friend,
Tell the truth and be ready to be hanged,
Tell the truth and lose the sale,
Tell the truth and be ready to be labelled as unbeiliver,
Those who chant about truth day in and day out , night in and night out even they too resist truth.

People are not comfortable with truth, because its ugly and has bad odour. People love lies, because it brings them into the comfort zone , as it leads them into the fantasy land.

The religions of the world too preach and teach about lies , like Sin,Hell and heaven and what not. The religions of the world though talk about truth, but people love lies.
  • A reply on Conversation: Debate: Is corruption a moral or a legal issue?

Nov 11 2012: Honesty is a blunt tool , it bleeds more than it heals the wound. Honesty alone can't end the corruption. Even Criminals are honest among themselves. If they wouldn't have been honest in their work of killing people then we wouldn't have so much bloodshed in the name of corruption , terrorism.
