Daniel Lee Posted almost 2 years ago Daphne Bavelier: Your brain on video games Not all video games are the same. The only example she cites as a video game that helps cognitive functions is the Call of Duty. That seems to be the only game her research has used in her experiment to see if video games can benefit our brain. I was once an avid gamer playing five to seven hours a day. Playing a video game like Call of Duty at moderation may help, as indicated by her research, but the trick is that most people simply do not have the self-control to avoid playing the video game excessively to the point they may start to abandon their priorities.
