More About Me

I'm passionate about

Self empowerment, community, education, social progression, happiness, psychology, love & just life in general. The possibilities in the future are limitless. Its whether or not we consider it enough.

An idea worth spreading

ALL ROUNDED EDUCATION. Online, Inter-school/Cross country semesters, etc. Not everything has to be crammed up in 1 scope of study, conducted in school grounds, or merit given based solely on examination grades. These 3 words seem like such an understatement. But if parents/friends aren't gonna be detailed with the younger generation on how its okay to make mistakes and how its okay to study that tree in the jungle you want, our educators need to. The biggest investment is always the younger ones. I always believe in going beyond the textbooks and grades. So much more ideas in my head but since they said "an", i'll stick to that :) Education is supposed to be enriching, not a chore, and everyone should go beyond the syllabus, learning doesn't end when your last paper of your final exams end.

Talk to me about

Anything at all. If we both walk away either having a really good laugh/time or being extremely enlightened. I don't see why we should set any form of limitations.

People don't know that I'm good at

being patient, and eating.

Nov 2 2012: Travel the world and make a positive impact to at least 1 person/1 community. It's the biggest goal of my life.

A comment on Conversation: Shame is a hinderance to education.

Nov 2 2012: Just a personal humble opinion. Shame is not a hinderance to education because Shame doesn't derive solely from the mistakes made or opportunities missed in school. It happens anywhere and everywhere in circumstances where you feel you could've done better as an individual. It is an emotion and a state of mind, we can't just dismiss it as unnecessary. It can only be a hurdle to run away from, or a stepping stone. Its a development we all go through and before anyone can say its unnecessary, half the world has learnt/ gain from feeling ashamed. Cos sometimes you learn so much more when it hits you where it hurts. If 1 has no sense of shame, we'd all be running around naked in Walmart.
