About Me

I would like to acquire some land out in the green triangle of say, about 100 acres, preferably in some part of the redwood forests. On this land, I would like to build my tree top community and have another area, on the other side of the property, for transient folks in the vicinity.

In this treetop community, I want it to be self sufficient to the max. I would like to see permaculture farms, solar power, wind turbines, and maybe even some hydropower if near a water source. Not to mention rainwater harvesting. I also want to have a network of rope bridges connecting each tree house, with supplemental zip lines. If there were a way to incorporate slides to the ground and fire poles for a quick and fun way to the ground, that would be swell. Ideally, this community would be about 30 feet or more above the ground. With it being this high up, I would want to figure out a way to camouflage this community from the people looking up into the boughs of the trees. To gain access to this area, I would need to approve of you. I do not want anyone there that is not likeminded and chill enough to be able to live with other folks without starting unnecessary drama. Save the drama fo yo mama! Below are some pictures to get you inspired to want to join me in this endeavor. As far as this shelter for the transient, I would like to have a large barn built to house a fairly large number of folks. This barn would have all sort of amenities for these travelers, such as showers, bathrooms, kitchen, sleeping quarters (possibly a large hammocking area), and free wi-fi, among other things. While at this shelter, the transients will be REQUIRED to help out with ANY WORK that needs to be done on the property. Overall, I want this to be a chillax and fun place to be for people that are going to be respectful to others and treat everyone as family. I want to keep the negativity out of this place as much as possible. If anyone is interested in becoming a part of this, please talk to me. I am serious about starting something like this. This will be a difficult task to accomplish, especially if I have to go about it by myself. I am looking for anyone that has something to contribute to this project. This is going to be an ever evolving place where change is constant.

Oct 24 2012: When will people realize money is not a factor for anything to be produced on this planet? Well, it is a factor as long as people are greedy and only caring about themselves; which is why I think we are going to have to force this upon certain folks. It is for the betterment of mankind so suck it up and deal with it. Isn't adaptation one of the key benefits of survival? If you can't adapt to these new methods of energy harnessing, then you should get off the planet now.

Do you have any ideas that could be beneficial to man?

Oct 23 2012: There should be a mandate to have solar panels put on every roof of every man-made object, that would require the use of solar energy.

Oct 23 2012: I think this is a genius idea. I wish I would have thought of it. Installation of these solar plants could be the peace treaty. Everyone gets cheaper, preferably free, energy and everyone wins.

Oct 22 2012: If people are concerned about money being an issue, there could be a new tax, The Social Change Tax of ____. This tax will mostly target the wealthy, mainly for human moral issues. They could pay this annual tax for as many years as it takes to accomplish this project. As time goes on the percentage rate would gradually decrease and while that is happening, they could become more accustomed to living with less of an income. For these wealthy individuals, the tax, in its beginning years could be 50% of their total annual income. For the lower income margins, they could pay 10%-1% of their annual incomes.
As this is all going on, the entire planet would hopefully be collectively adopting greener ways to live while using sustainable resources and renewable energy.

Oct 22 2012: I totally understand what you're saying about this. I think this will take time. It basically comes down to having this generation of backwards thinking folks to die off while continuing to educate current and future generations down the line about the benefits of such a society. This way, when they start replacing the their elders or older generations, as well as filling in all positions of society in the same ways that religions do. Thus, they would all (hopefully) be in a unanimous agreement on how to construct a social change. Those future generations will hold titles of "authority" and be armed with this ever increasing knowledge and awareness.
  • A reply on Conversation: Are we ready for a perfect world?

Oct 22 2012: Then, no, I don't think the world is ready for this type of change. I wish it were but I think we still have a few years to go.
Maybe, next year, we will see the changes taking effect that are going to be needed as the catalysts of change.
  • A reply on Conversation: Are we ready for a perfect world?

Oct 21 2012: The Venus Project is not a perfect world, it's just a lot better. Jacques Fresco even states that is his talks.
  • A comment on Conversation: Are we ready for a perfect world?

Oct 21 2012: This is an amazing idea but I feel the start up of it will require a lot of capital to get it off the ground. Once it gets going, I think the rest will be history.
All of these wealthy people on here need to set aside their greed for all of this money that they have and donate it to the cause, aka The Venus Project. Let them take a temporary pay cut to get this project funded. I figure most of them are wealthy for a reason, so therefore, they should not have a difficult time reclaiming their wealth, although won't necessarily need in once they come to realize the greatness that will come from building this Venus Project. I think if we could persuade the wealthy ones to do this for maybe just a year, this will be the catalyst for all things to come. I know if I had a lot of money, I would gladly do this because I can see where we are heading and I would like to avoid that.
