I´ve tried to find in scientific journals the original research of Dr. Shankardass, and more importantly, their replications and other articles with advances in this field. I ended up finding nothing. If you find anything, please feel free to disseminate in this space. It would be a great help.
Also searched other studies on the same subject in large databases and found only small studies with low significance.
I work in one of the largest public institutions of autism treatment in latin america as a pediatrician.
This month, in Pediatrics, there´s a new guideline about nonmedical interventions in children wit ASD. It´s free.
Oct 13 2012: This lecture is a tremendous irresponsibility. It happened 3 years ago and so far we have no tangible result of research in this field. Where are the studies of Dr. Shankardass? All we have are parents desperate to do the best for their children. It shows the story of a child who showed improvement with anticonvulsant therapy so what, 1 in 1 million? And for the millions of other autistic children, which answer was given to them?
All I found was the propaganda of Bright Minds Institute charging $ 3.995 for an EEG.
