  Jul 19 2011: There is no such book, one that'll teach you how to be rich step by step. At least, one that works, that is. Don't you think that if there were such a thing, everybody would try it? We can't all be rich, right? There's only so much riches in the world.

  Jul 1 2011: If you don't mind watching some older videos, you might enjoy "Ze Frank's nerdcore comedy". Also, you can check the home page and filter for videos rated as funny by using the left hand links.

  A reply on Conversation: Do you believe in the "Big Bang Theory?" Why or why not?

  Jun 30 2011: As far as I know, no scientist claim that the Big Bang was the origin of our universe. This model aims to describe the early development of the universe, not how it started or what started it.

  Jun 15 2011: Nice values indeed. :) I read your profile, and your "book and ball combination seems great. It reminds me of a couple friends I had once: one was a basketball player who was mostly interested in sports, and the other was essentially a bookworm, having spent most of her youth in her bedroom reading. Sometimes, they'd argue and diss each other's hobbies.
  How easy (or how difficult) was it for you to manage these two sides of you? Jocks and nerds never get along. :)

  Jun 9 2011: Maybe I'm dense, but I fail to see the connection, to be honest. Can you please elaborate a bit more on how is it that by selecting the most attractive partner you are actually choosing the most intelligent one? From my understanding of natural selection, limited as it may be, by using beauty as criteria the only thing you can be sure to pass on to the next generation is beauty itself, nothing else.

  May 6 2011: Acredito que se promovermos esses valores desde a infância, os medos e inseguranças serão menores ou até marginais. Ainda assim, não podemos eliminar a individualidade e competitividade no ensino - muitas vezes, é esse estímulo que nos faz querer ser melhores e nos permite ultrapassar as mais difíceis barreiras.

  Apr 12 2011: Helen, it is a fact. Evolution has been observed countless times and people have been doing 'artificial selection' since the dawn of times to breed better pets, cattle, etc.

  A comment on Conversation: Do you think more money should be spent to explore space or should it be more spent helping people who are struggling on earth? Why?

  Apr 1 2011: I firmly believe we, our civilization, should keep investing in space exploration (and all of science). The technological advances we get from all the related research will, ultimately, improve our lives.
