Art, music, traveling and volunteering
If money, time and resources were no object, I would like to build a community center in an area of San Diego where there are hard-working parents who have no money for their children to participate in extra-curricular activities. I would set up fun art classes and activities for kids and teenagers to be a part of, keeping them out of trouble and off the streets. I would also like to host cooking classes so families could come together and learn about nutrition, health and wellness. I would want this center to be a place where positive relationships are built and the community is in turn strengthened.
