Jun 3 2009: I'm really fascinated by Kurzweils ideas and have read his books. One remark about this short talk:
To say that it was information technology that was the key reason for the collapse of the soviet union isn't completely true. I'm not saying that it didn't contribute, but it was in no way the only possible outcome.
If information technology brings down dictatorship, what shall we conclude from the example of China? I would be very interesting in Kurzweils views on this.
The SU is a great idea, it'll be very interesting to see the results!
May 13 2009: Wonderful animations. I got so inspired by this video that I started to study biotechnology, and I am now two years in on my education to become a civil engineer in biotech.
