Tourism, when managed properly, can feed only positive things to all types of communities around the globe. A sustainable economy, growth in self awareness of the needs, create a sense of pride and self worth.

People don't know that I'm good at

I am an open book, so if you know me, you'll notice my curiosity and hunger to continue learning. I am good at understanding different situations and I usual react very well to difficult times.

My TED Story

I stumbled upon TED after reading an article that a TedX event was done in my city. I couldn't get off my mind how much I loved the concept and started thinking what could I do (or what was I doing) to become part of this circle to change the world through thinking. Here I am, starting my journey through this community to learn and continue building ideas to give ourselves and our future generations a world worth living for.

A reply on Conversation: Developing a Touristic Culture

Sep 29 2012: Thank you very much on your input. A couple of years ago, I became member of the Puerto Rico Tour guide Society, who is one of many organizations looking that the government approves a law that establishes an education and formal training to Tour Guides through licenses imparted by the Tourism Authority. Sadly, our government does not see this as a priority and we have been waiting 12 years for this approval. We are looking for new ways to make this an important matter in our country.

Again, Thank you for your insight and the proposals are in the making.

A comment on Conversation: What motivates you?

Sep 28 2012: What motivates me is the deep dislike of wondering "What if?". Also, my daughter is my engine and since she's been born, I have put life into perspective and started living the journey that I always wanted to take.
