Dec 10 2012: I keep hearing of all types of cures or treatments for cancer, HIV, and other illnesses that can be achieved with alternative medicines. The doctors and pharmaceutical companies do not recognize these treatments, because they have not been clinically proven.
I know someone with Cancer and a simple change of diet did a lot more for him than the chemo treatments. Even with this proof his doctors still don't advice the patient to rely on a diet, they want him to keep treatments that debilitates him and keep him out of work for days at a time. I am glad that he is doing better and he recuperated 10 times faster than they expected.
I just really want a doctor that implements diets and exercise over medicine whenever possible. Making money should not be the only thing that the pharmacies and doctors should think of.
Oct 2 2012: In my house there has always been a bee hive, a birdsnest. I dont really go looiking for them but I dont get rid of them if they nest there (unless they are rats or roaches). When the birds nested in our front porch, a chick got droped by mama bird since it was the runt of the litter. Mom used to pick the chick after the mother droped it from the nest, she did that for seven days until the chick died of hunger after the mother decided not to feed it.
My point is is that sometimes we need to let nature be. Even if we do help by bringing the bees to our house, we need to let them eat and produce what they want. It is in their nature to know what is good for them.
Oct 1 2012: The problem is that humans have adpted to wasteful use of anything. As a person, I leave my windows open during the summer and winter time until it becomes unberable. This summer I only used my AC unit three times. In winter we sleep with the heater at 60 and during the day time we try to not have it higher than 68. We wear sweaters and carry a blanket, but we think that the money we save on energy is also resources we save for the planet.
At my work place however, my coworkers think that blasting the AC is a better option than opening the windows even on a nice day outside. I sometimes had to wear a sweater at my desk, one of my coworkers brings a heater to warm herself when the AC temperature is too low. In winter we usually do the opposite and need fans and personal cooling systems to keep a comfortable temperature.
