A comment on Conversation: Strange questions that humans have not yet found an answer for!

Aug 15 2012: Why do we have schools, if all they do is to ask you to accept and understand, and measure your intelligence through examinations, when actually it really doesn't measure intelligence but only how much you've remembered/accepted. Why do we learn about circles, log, angles, salts, chemicals, when the chances are you're probably not going to remember them? its not that I don't appreciate school, but why is the global education system like this? is it because it always has been, or are we just too lazy/out of ideas to change it?
    -thanks :)

A comment on Talk: Ken Robinson says schools kill creativity

Aug 14 2012: I agree with this speech, As a student, I berate myself if I make a mistake. Mistakes are not correct.(obviously) However this ideology is false. I know we are told learn from our mistakes, however if making mistakes is bad, and we are too afraid to make them how then will we learn? We just accept everything and I think we might become a generation of mindless zombies. Hence, we must create a new education system, but how will it be able to encompass all the measures of intelligence? That is all.
