Aug 29 2012: Also on the note about rape.,.. If a young kid walked into a classroom about eighteen dressed in a orange jumpsuit handcuffed with a officer holding a gun on him and said i committed rape this is my story this is what happens to you... would it sink in??? The mind remembers things it has never seen before easier and quicker than a classroom setting the students have seen a teacher about a thousand times before they have seen books they have seen pamplets.... but they havent seen someone there age in a orange jumpsuit and saying they commited rape and it ruined my life... we could even go as far... for the conservatives.. and do this through tele-communications a real time feed from prison to the classroom in HD were the students could ask questions and the inmate could tell them answers... find a good candidate for each school and BOOM! the idea of rape becomes a guy in a orange jumpsuit telling you his life is over.... Am i saying that this is a solution for rape no but it sure is a start... we need to have the world to teach our kids and the teachers to be guides... and this system could be used for about a billion other topics... were selling education to these kids but there isnt any principles of a sales agreement... reciprocity and obligation (Law of Contract - you do something good for me ill do something good for you) is the number one sells technique and its not being used consistence is the second being used to a extent but teachers are overwhelmed and therefore consistence in learning and teaching techniques is not being used... Soo that leaves us with the next two Authority....and... Same Peers... We need to give students the experts of a given field of study from all sides and Same peers we have to show them also that other students love learning.... there is alot that needs to change in the world and its our youth that will end up doing it because we as a society resist change and resist the unknown...

Aug 29 2012: how bout a friend who has a phd in physics what i was getting at is it has to be more relatable. LOL I strongly believe their are responsiible young adults who if given the right knowledge by teachers and closely monitored by teachers before and after that class would be the perfect candidate to teach sex education... we need to build a more sexually responsible youth and teachers throwing numbers and figures even in the most positive ways is not the answer.. Students need to tell students... why?? because students listen to students... get it???

Aug 20 2012: Macro-economics of a country or a corporation is a direct refection of that organization's health... The more money the better it is doing the less it has the worse it is doing... Bill Gates has to know where his resources are going that is a fact he may have made alot of money but a fool and his money are soon parted. One of the prerequisite courses at harvard is economics he also studied economics at Lakeside Prep.. Bill Gates is also on the board of director's for Berkshire Hathaway with long time friend Warren Buffett. Warren Buffect is also a very smart man which i really dont think he would let Bill Gates be in that position with no working knowledge of economics. Also Bill Gates was at the World Economics Forum in 2007, The difference though is that Bill Gates has a working knowledge of Economics he see's it everyday at his business not a theoretical one like Obama.

Aug 20 2012: So here's my idea about this Zhang what if we could start a program where we give students the most valid data on this subject and let each school have a student led sexual education course these are the people that that they would actually listen too and also who would be the best advocate against rape... Obviously a rape victim soo allow them to speak on the subject as well as a reformed rapist let both sides talk to these kids ask them what they think safe sex practices also show them what happens when things go right with safe sex practices soo show them a responsible couple who has kids and waited until they were emotionally and financially able to have a child

A reply on Conversation: What are the arguments for and against philosophy in high school?

Aug 20 2012: Arjun, I believe on very fundamental principalities of each of those topics you may be right. I see your side of the fence very clearly now. Here is what I think we should do with each of these disciplines of science not only give a student the principle knowledge but also show them real world positive actions that each student can understand show students the information and then show them the positive actions and negative actions this imformation can have i.e A neuton is captured by Uranium- 235 which in turn briefly turns Uranium- 235 into the highly excited molecule Uranium-236. The Uranium-236 moleculle has fissioned resulting into two fission partiicules Ba-141 and Kr-92 and three more neutrons which in turn cause more and more fission states which release a enormous amount of kinetic energy... Pure information right the foundation of a nuclear reaction... but also show a student the negative outcomes.... the nuclear bomb, Hiroshima, and cheronbyl ... and so on then show them the positives as well like nuclear power plants ran responsibly producing light and heat to millions of people ... see we need to show them both the positives soo they can strive to obtain them as well as the negatives so they can learn from them and learn how not to cause them... see the students need both sides of a subject to truly understand it as for righteous thinking I believe that all humans are righteous when they are born after that the world can make them good or bad... we need better mom's and dad's to lay down a strong foundation for righteous thinking upon which teachers can build upon

Aug 19 2012: What the eyes see and the ears hear the mind believes.... Can movies change our whole perspective of life in a negative way... and what can directors and producers due to curb psychopathic and suicidal thoughts within there movies without affecting quality... (In regards to the tragic shooting that took place during the Batman primiere). What im saying is although yes this person obviously needed help from a doctor but can a movie be actually sooo realistic and sooo in depth that we could cause a person to change there mental perspective based on that realism and where do we draw the line at... Total Recall for example would be a good illustration of a advanced form of entertainment gone wrong... what safeguards are there for entertainment...
  • A reply on Conversation: Should we have elected a president that never even ran a lemonaid stand to operate the largest corporation in the world... USA

Aug 19 2012: And i believe a president needs to have both.... a plan is doomed to fail if it never gets put into action... what my main point is how can a president with yes a working knowledge of economics fix our economy when he knows nothing about real world solutions and real world problems with economics. The economy is everything and he's not getting that healthcare is in direct correlation with economics... doctor's spend thousands upon thousands of dollars to obtain their respected degree's and they spend thousands upon thousands of dollars paying the bills for their practices and there malpractice insurance and this and that sooo yes of course i hope doctors make good money to be able to do what it is they do... people forget this they think that poof here's a doctor fix me there is alot more too it and it starts with the big business owners they too should have alot of money these are the people that are making more jobs... I think he should of worked more on govenment work programs balancing the budget more and better foreign policy's for foreign trade... force our country to get better at what we do get more effiecient and more cost affective... curb food stamps and free money say hey if you want money we will be more than happy to give it to you for 7.25 a hour and your going to have to take a drug test and then also make laws to were children are takin care pay for daycare things like that all our programs up until this point have been band-aids we need real world solutions to these problems long term solutions.... the fact is if you sit say your hurt lie to the government they will give you money... sooo where is the motivation to work thats why unemployement is steadily increasing

Aug 19 2012: We are sensory creatures... if you think about this that our eyes interpret a relatively small spectrum of light and analyse it in the brain our ears interpret a very smal amount of radiowaves and our brain analyse it in our brain..... touch taste smell its all interpretations lol sooo if you think about it our world is inside our brains... is our reality in the world or inside the mind... with 1 billion neurons controlling 1 trillion synapses which control the over 600 muscles in the body... is our world outside us or in??? is the pain we feel even real, is it a reaction to safe guard us like the lactic acid build up defense mechanism's in our body, then you have to question safeguard us from what??
  • A comment on Conversation: Aren't Christianity, Judaism and Islam basically the same? How much archaeological evidence is there of similar teachings in the past?

Aug 19 2012: I don't know much about religion but i do know making light sure is loud....
