A comment on Conversation: Why Basic Income should become a Human Right

Oct 22 2012: I would make it a human right in my community, to divide any wealth surplus as basic incomes, as a means to increase profit and optimize the market economy, I would think it was a superior socio-economic system for any society, even ignoring social/ethical reasons and only counting political and economic reasons, I would implement unconditional basic incomes as a superior algorithm to run the operative system of my society, and our socio-technological evolution would be faster then that of neighbor-communites stuck in unequal social operative systems. Evolutionary speaking, our genes/memes/temes would survive.

Anyone fix a basic income in their community yet? #peerprogressive

  • A comment on Talk: John Wilbanks: Let’s pool our medical data

Oct 16 2012: Great Talk! Sharing as a form of control, to increase the wealth of the commons, I like the zeitgeist right now, lots of great ideas coming online! Building better P2P societies, one network at a time, impatient optimists :) It only takes all of some of us, to change the narrative for all of us!

This talk is already 4 months old, probably norm/laws have matured since, anyway, of course people should be able to do whatever they want to with their data! Give people their damn data; bit.ly/V7aTjK - and let them share it, store it, or whatever, let them just do as with any other data... :)

Here´s the gene data I´ve sequenced from my genome so far, enjoy! http://opensnp.org/data/648.23andme.298

...people are developing ingenious apps and interfaces for personalized medicine, this discussion will be obsolete/displaced by disruptive innovations very soon :)

    Anyway, Great Talk John!

  • A comment on Talk: Rachel Botsman: The currency of the new economy is trust

Oct 1 2012: Ripple is a P2P-currency that organically scales from local to global, depending on market requirements. Ripple is the next-generation of market economy, an inherently trust-based system.

    It´s actually ingeniously simple :)
...and it naturally eliminates greedy tourism
    It scales to all purposes

Sep 24 2012: I stopped looking after 0:46, "are the droids taking our jobs? there´s some evidence they are", I thought, of course they´re automating work! :)

...now I watched the full talk and agree Julie, inspiring and hopeful! But let´s ditch the "are they taking our jobs?" jargong :) it´s so luddite-ish...

A comment on Talk: Andrew McAfee: Are droids taking our jobs?

Sep 24 2012: His perspective on automation is soooo last month :) This discussion has progressed since across the blogospheres of the web and out of the collective paranoia from change, a confident and autonomous generation has taken on a much more mature and rational perspective then the obsolete wage job social contract one. Most people in our future societies won´t have "jobs" as we know them... it´s a memeplex for the capitalist societies of the past centuries. The future will be completely different, like it´s always been. And life will be meaningful and people will be happy and automation will be a good thing, like all technologies have ultimately been somewhat good... (language, fire, domestication, agriculture, stone, iron, mechanics, steam, electricity, computation, nuclear, bio/nano/yeah-tech, and so on...)

At the end of the day, we´ll be fine :)
