  • A comment on Conversation: Does prison work?

Aug 10 2012: The problem is exascerbated by the novice criminal who enters the prision system for a stipulated period of time only to re-emerge therefrom a relatively short period of time later with enhanced criminal skills, an expanded criminal network of contacts and a more determined mindset calling into question the whole rehabilitation and positive educational process he was supposed to undergo while incarcerated.
  • A comment on Talk: David Agus: A new strategy in the war on cancer

Aug 10 2012: I have some radical comments to make about how I survived advanced oral cancer. I was diagnosed with stage 4 oral cancer with the primary site being my left tonsil. Ordinarily, I would have had a 20% chance of survival, however due to the advanced stage of my disease & size of the 2 tumors, one on each side of my neck, my chance of survival was reduced to 10% within 3 years, a fairly dismal prognostication. That was over 7 years ago! So, what made the difference? I believe a lot had to do with attitude control, and more particularly, my reliance on a daily dose of of high quality chrystal methamphetamine! It helped me maintain a posiive and powerful mental attitude throughout the ordeal. I have used chrystal meth daily for over 17 years using one reliable, economical source, and I am certain I would not have succeeded in my battle against this wicked disease without it, On July 16, 2010, 5 years to the day following initial diagnosis, I was declared cancer free and no further regular check-ups were necessary, quarterly, semi-annually nor annually! That was 2 yrs, 24 days & 6 hrs ago...I was the poster boy for stupidity who grew a full beard to hide the automobile-sized tumors instead of seeking medical attention for a sore throat that had lasted over 14 months before finally giving in to spousal pressure to check it out once and for all. I had not considered cancer as a possible culprit, and shortly after diagnosis I commenced 35 maximum radiation treatments, 3 high-dose chemotherapy sessions, and a radical neck dissection that removed 27 lymph nodes and related soft tissue, leaving me permanently disabled with a speech impediment and reliant on a stomach tube for 100% of my nutritional intake., I would never have survived such brutal & painful treatment without the positive reinforcement of the crystal meth on my mental attitude, a habit I joyfully continue to this day. It may not work for everyone, but there's nothing to lose if all else has failed!
