Jul 26 2012: He's basically proposing questions that humanity must eventually face and solve. The problem of overpopulation is taboo because nobody wants to think about having to limit the population of the earth. However, if our society progresses without change, we will face serious problems in the future. He also examines the way that current neuroscience and artificial intelligence is dealing with problems (He believes that maybe robots may discover better ideas to deal with the problems of society). He disparages neuroscience and genetics, saying that our approach is incorrect (which is debatable). Largely, through his presentation, he's suggesting that we begin to open our mind about possible solutions.
