A comment on Conversation: How can we make world changing inventions & ideas profitable?

Jul 27 2012: When you start working on something which is going to change the world, you have to accept that the project may not be profitable and may not work at it should be. Therefore, the risk of having your profits expectancy downgraded is permanent. If you found the cure of something horrible, the first feeling is hapiness because you made something that will relieve millions of people and that is the real reward.
  • A comment on Conversation: What makes your life interesting ...????

Jul 25 2012: Daily challenges, adventures and all things mentioned below give a curious taste to life. But what really makes my life interesting is being excited on how things will turn in the future, discover where destiny is leading me and how I'm going to deal with it.
  • A reply on Conversation: How do you see the world without nuclear energy ?

Jul 25 2012: Check out what Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) says about this topic. Fukushima is a tragedy because of all the damages caused to wildlife, to people surrounding the power plant, to air quality, to water...and beside considering that every human loss is a tragedy. If we can't avoid to be swept by Tsunami, we can avoid to be slashed by nuclear catastrophes. If it has to be replaced, a more eco-friendly energy has to take over.
  • A reply on Conversation: How do you see the world without nuclear energy ?

Jul 25 2012: I was referring mainly to the increasing risk of accident a nuclear power plant is exposed to. I disagree with a comment below who says that if we run it smartly and responsibly it is far safer. Sorry but history told us that the two big accident involving a nuclear power plant ended up tragically and not to say how big the consequences are. We can not permit to live such a nightmare again. Scientists say that even if all the safety procedures are followed, we can NOT eliminate the risk of having an accident again, because responsibility is hard to assume.
  • A reply on Conversation: How to build our future without destroying the Earth ?

Jul 24 2012: Well, that why I said that we are not (yet ?) in the spirit of making a viable future for our planet. Sadly, everyone is trying to grab more profits at the expense of earth's resources. If I had to change something today I would change the way people are thinking and raise the priority of this topic. Governments have others priorities but time won't forgive us when it will be too late to act.

A comment on Conversation: How to build our future without destroying the Earth ?

Jul 23 2012: This is an interesting debate. As you may know, earth's resources are not unlimited and the way we are consuming today we are going to run out from vital resources and the aftermath will be chaotic. We have to lower our consumption, develop greener, promote sustainability. We have to act before we reach a irreversible point. But to do so, everyone must follow this move and I'm not sure that we have reached today this way of thinking.

A comment on Conversation: Is it possible for Science & religion to coexist?

    Jul 23 2012: Hi Simha P,
I think that science and religion can co-exist ONLY if science draws a red line which must never been crossed. Science has improved a way human existence BUT there are some topics irrelevant of science researches and belong to religious believes. The mix is possible at a certain level.
