He deserves every single photon of limelight!
  • A reply on Talk: Keller Rinaudo: A mini robot -- powered by your phone

Apr 12 2013: I understand what you mean. Especially in regards to individuals potentially targeted, by people with criminal intent; that are armed with the sort of tech toys, you have so sarcastically limned.

However: Unfair & irresponsible usage of technology -should- never dissuade opportunity in adopting its potential benefits, in technological evolution.

Weather it be nosy neighbors, the government flying “police drones”, or even accessing your computer without a warrant. There is an obvious line that borders the realm between invasive v.s acceptable administration of communication technologies.

It is only of an individuals own volition, that he/she may conduct voyeuristic malice, with such technologies. These people cannot be stopped; without legal or psychological intervention, and will continue to do so, even with out dated technology.

Tackling education of moral responsibility, would be far more productive in preventing people from spying on each other. As opposed to total rejection of such ingenuity.

Apr 9 2013: I wonder if it could be used as an IP camera to monitor your house/pet or even office? Or if it could be programed to conduct appointed routes, so as to check-up on employees....The ultimate nanny cam!

A comment on Talk: Afra Raymond: Three myths about corruption

Feb 23 2013: This is an outstanding talk!

02:00min + is a fine example of how minimization tactics are used by the very people committing the crimes. Upon inquest, information is given, however in these circumstances, is is deliberately obfuscated in order to suit both the "complainant's" requests, but as well (most importantly in corruption) the "defendant's" reputation.

A comment on Talk: Tyler DeWitt: Hey science teachers -- make it fun

Feb 5 2013: That was impressive, impeccably delivered, with military precision.

Mr.Dwitt has picked up on a sector of education, that maims many.

Turning lesson plans, and monotonous text from: A failing dirty bomb of incomprehensible jargon. Into a Trident II SLBM, that'll deliver 1900kt of awesome, to within ~100m of its audience.

Looks like Vsause has some stiff competition!
  • A reply on Conversation: Solving gun violence in the US in today's insane political climate requires a solution that makes it painless for everyone.

Jan 31 2013: Hi Mr. Disney, I understand what your saying here. However I remain steadfast in the notion that any government would naturally heed; their best interest is their people.

There are many Police forces that don't carry guns:

Leading by example is a tough job though.

One must consider that Switzerland has been established for 600 years. The United States, is "young blood" (almost "nouveau riche") in comparison, and Needs time to balance itself.

All these things take time. Although, Its our recent freedom of communication, that may very well keep the U.S. as great of a role model (in different aspects) as it is today, far into the future.
