About Me

My personal philosophy is that I want to know more about the universe than I knew yesterday and convey those ideas in majestic ways. Whether is is through poetry or simple day to day conversations. I am an aspiring astrophysicist and I seek to gain my major in Physics in 2016. I am also a published poet; the elegance poetry conveys is indescribable :)

  • A comment on Conversation: Would you want your kid to grow up and choose the exact same profession that you chose to do?

Sep 7 2012: I would not. For one, their interests might not be the same as mine. If this becomes true, then why propel the idea that they should undertake my profession. If one is intrigued by philosophy, let them contemplate on the meaning of being, if instead one is passionate about professional soccer, I would love to see my child go to the world cup if his/her talent takes him/her there. As long as they realize that that is what they want to input all their resources into and make a contribution to the human condition, I support whatever profession they seek to attain. (That being said, I would like them to go to a university instead of working at a mediocre job, not to say those jobs are not important to the economy and the nation as a whole but education should be prioritized once the final ramifications are thought of.)

A comment on Conversation: Video Games - How have they inspired you? How have they influenced your thinking? - I explain how Final Fantasy 7 has changed me.

Sep 6 2012: In terms of mental acuity concerning my vision and reflexes, I would say yes. However if one does not know how to manage their time appropriately then one might find themselves consumed in virtual realities. If anything, Paper Mario taught me about how to apply extra-spatial-dimensions to the physical world. Perceptions are mere illusions that either cannot show or veil what is indeed true in this universe. That is my experience with video games.

A comment on Conversation: How to choose a good partner?

Jun 30 2012: You don't just "choose" a good partner. You have to wait and see which person is most compatible to your ideologies, past times, interests, and such. A person that you can talk to easily and have the best times doing the simplest things. Otherwise, the relationship will either be a frustrating one or one that will eventually fail. Then, when the two realize that they have love between them, they take the next step. Choosing implies that the other person will comply, most of the times, I'm assuming, it doesn't work out for the best, A person that you respect, have fun with, learn with, has an open-mind and vice-versa would also be qualities to look for. Look for do not choose, because some times surprises can happen with this thing we humans call "love"

A comment on Conversation: Fill in the Blank - What the World needs now is __________ ?

Jun 26 2012: More curious people. This alone can have profound effects on not only in the progression of science and other fields, but it will lead to the increment of society's interest in the unknown. Which over the history of mankind, people have held too close the illogical fear of the unknown.
