About Me

Casey Potenzone is a seasoned technologist with a focus on web technologies and emerging markets. His experience includes hands-on and executive roles in technology as well as sales and business development. His focus has been primarily in taking emerging products and companies to market and has served as the key intermediary between multiple startups and their acquired, fortune 500 and SMB customers.

Currently Casey is the Director of Web Technologies for Bertelsmann subsidiary, Arvato Digital Services. Previously he's served as a VP at Avangate, CIO of Uniloc, Head of Operations at Relegence, Director of Technology at MTV, as well as various consulting roles within oil, banking and entertainment. Potenzone continues to serve as an adviser to several public and private operations as well as providing expert witness testimony in the areas of digital media and security.

At any point he has at least two companies or products bubbling on the back burner. To date he has been awarded two patents as primary inventor, named an inventor on three others and has several additional provisional and in-process patent applications. Potenzone is a product guy at heart and is constantly pushing the envelope of new technologies.

I'm a technologist at heart. I find my passion making the sum of parts a functioning whole, changing what people perceive of as possible and generally defying expectations.

An idea worth spreading

Protect the water- As an avid fisherman in both fresh and salt water I have seen all the ways we have impacted these ecologies. Whether walking on a fresh water bank or sailing far out to sea, the damage is easy to find. We have massively polluted the oceans, over fished the most productive species, continue to brutally slaughter intelligent animals and leave our garbage everywhere. Take a look at what you're holding in your hand and think about where it is going to be in 1 day, 1 week or 1 year. Chances are part of it will be floating in the water.

People don't know that I'm good at

Cooking and gardening! I love to cook and grew up around gardens. Put the two of them together and you can end up with some amazing food!
