My TED story

I discovered TED by attending a thought and language class and since then I couldn't stop watching TED Talks everyday and it has changed the way I approach to knowledge, I feel that my ideas flow better thanks to these talks and I show this webpage to everybody when I have the opprotunity to do so. I also see TED as a great way to acquire knowledge for free and from the best thinkers around the globe. TED just amazes me and gives me more tools to convey ideas that do worth spreading.

Amy Cuddy: Your body language shapes who you are
It reminds me of my own proccess of becoming a good speaker, I felt that same "I'm-not-supposed-to-be-here-feeling when giving my first talk at school because I couldn't even stand the idea of being in front of my classmates speaking up and now it's natural to me to give talks about my research or participating during my classes and currently I'm one of the top students of my faculty. This talk also reminds me of Brene Brown's about the power of vulnerability.

What is Your BIG IDEA in just 6 WORDS?
I recently reviewed the Spanish translation of http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/es/wolfgang_kessling_how_to_air_condition_outdoor_spaces.html and the last one I translated myself was http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/fr/elyn_saks_seeing_mental_illness.html into French. =)

That's a really hard question...Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince) by Antoine de Saint-Exupery is one of my loved ones. Currently, I'm reading Ulysses by James Joyce is one of the greatest, very hard to read but once I got the rythm, I can't stop. Cien Anos de Soledad (One Hundred Years of Solitude) is also a great book I have reread a bunch of times. A Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare is a really beautiful book, as well as The Odyssey and The Iliad by Homer.
