Jun 22 2012: 1. Skill alone will NOT get you to the promise land.
    2. Success mirrors how well you have conformed to the majority.
    3. My Mom is what UNCONDITIONAL love means.
    4. Love does not mean you need to be around that person at all times.
    5. There is nothing more difficult than Inevitable change. (i.e. Balding, Aging, When you realized that you are too old to go to that party)

A comment on Conversation: Interest can become a habit. Do you agree??

Jun 18 2012: i don't think interest has anything to do with the time we do or do not have. I believe it is simply the desire to know or learn something whether the time is there or not. Now habits are things that we regularly practice regardless of interest. It can be anything that over time has influenced us so much that it becomes second nature. With that being said, I'm having difficulty finding a way that we can "convert" an interest into a habit by choice. It seems habits develop on their own.
  • A comment on Conversation: Have Documentaries or Narrative Films had a bigger impact on you?

Jun 18 2012: Documentaries have had a life-changing impact on me... it is the only kind of television/movies i watch (other than the news). It is a great source of information on specific issues but it is very important to note that they can be a bit biased, favoring the person or organization making the documentary.
"Food Inc." has left the biggest impression on me; great watch if your into knowing more about factory farming, GMO's, and the everyday food we eat.
