About Me

I was born in Lima, Peru and lived in UK for 20 years. I have worked in language education and management in Peru and UK for all my life. I came back to Peru trying to give something back towards improving the quality of state education on my field. I am good at networking and connecting people with the same interests together. I am concerned about the lack of foreign language skills of young peruvians and how they miss so much on opportunities because of this.

More About Me

I'm passionate about

Education, language education, psychology, intercultural issues, potential of technology, food, music, travelling

An idea worth spreading

Language learning opens the world and doors. It gives you the opportunity to learn about other cultures and that is in itself a new transferable skill. The world is multilingual, being monolingual is not cool anymore.

A comment on Talk: Jamie Oliver's TED Prize wish: Teach every child about food

May 20 2012: This talk is really good but we should also think about the psychological reasons why people eat more than they need. It is usually problems with self esteem and that is something that also has to be looked at.
