Paul Kemp-Robertson: Bitcoin. Sweat. Tide. Meet the future of branded currency.
"Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes it's laws" Mayer Amschel Bauer Rothschild. My concern with this specific statement is the greed aspect i read in it. This thought was exactly what caused the world as we see it today...based on competition and not cooperation. My solution to this i see is in the creation of a new culture of thought based on a money free world. This might seem to be impossible but a system that is based on a Resource-Based-Economy model as envisioned by Jaque Fresco with his The Venus Project www.thevenusproject.com ,the video clip 'Paradise or Oblivion' is something to see and be advocated....not to be part of the problem but be part of the solution! .

Jared Diamond: Why do societies collapse?
Your thoughts on this matter, just about a year ago, is my thoughts today and i feel good in the knowing that i am not the only one that '...is still waiting for that big "wake up call" that gets us to change to survive. I hope its not too big a price for the next generation to bear.' Yes with the tools we have at our disposal and our natural ability to create and strive for that better picture is and should be in fun the way kids do. My predicament was cleared by my eldest son introducing me to a new direction of thought ...to break away from the need to survive to just survive and start living! Jaque Fresco was the man he directed me to be 'checked out' ! The Venus Project as envisioned and modeled by this 94 years young brain was for me just amazing and awesome...it is a better picture i had in mind for my kids future! This has giving me hope that there IS a better future for generations to come and we must share the thought.... See 'Paradise or Oblivion' www.thevenusproject.com and www.thrive.com Thank you Ian

Charmian Gooch: Meet global corruption's hidden players
"It takes true unselfish leadership. It takes overcoming the ego and seeing yourself as part of a whole organism versus an individual cell going about it's limited lifetime focus on it's own wants and needs" I agree and will go further with emphasis on the definition of Holism where the Whole should always be greater then the parts that make up that Whole. ( The father of this definition was the only South African soldier that received the Victorian Cross outside of the British empire for valour and were also one of the members that started the United Nations organisation.) I also agree with you that " all we can do is to shine a light and hope it gets brighter with other turning their light on" with more Mandela, Ghandi and other great souls to become.

I believe in the Resource-Based-Economy model as envisioned by Jarque Fresco of The Venus Project...see www.thevenusproject.com . When the abundance of resources are available to all on our planet and not only to an elite few, there will be no greed, wars, police, prisons ect ect. A child plays with what he has on hands and that is the culture of creativity where you do what you want and not what you have to do to survive and a civilized world is a reality for all.
