Aug 4 2012: Thank you Becci for an inspiring story on many levels. Photos found whether damaged or not, gives me time to pause. A brief moment to travel back in time and overlay onto the present. A joy to view the work of many preserving the past of those who have suffered.
Jul 13 2012: Fabulous!! When I was little I remember playing endlessly outside in the dirt. My Mom told me I would let the ants and bugs crawl all over me, never disturbing their business or hurting them. I grew up visiting my Grandmother on the farm, again very close to the dirt. I ate straight out of their huge garden, sometimes just brushing off a little dirt before enjoying the bounty. The result, my gut and I have been best friends for over 50 years. I trust my gut! Great talk!
May 14 2012: Thank you for sharing your piece. I am a very visual person and assumed everyone is. I love listening to stories and having a poem read out loud is the cat's meow. I have no idea what thinking with words mean. So I get the Baker, baker thing. An old Auntie once shared another Aunt's comment, "if you ask Carol what time is it, she will build you the clock." I take the comment in stride.
Apr 29 2012: I just popped into Secrets on TED. We are literally dying to tell our secrets. What are secrets in comparison to the beauty of diatoms, how our brains work, phantom parts, incredible shrimp and the mysteries of this magnificient planet. Tell your secrets to your self, become self aware.
Apr 29 2012: Acceptance does not mean happiness nor unhappiness. Acceptance is only what you know of yourself. They, if you accept they, accept the truth of what you know and share. No one is in your head.
