Dec 12 2012: I don't think peace is impossible. I just don't think a way or a means to force peace is possible.

A comment on Conversation: Money as a gift

Dec 11 2012: It is the easiest path... but if the receiver was asking for money to buy something bigger it's also the right path... I've always asked for cash so I could buy stuff I couldn't otherwise get... I bought my first console (n64) with my presents from a whole year. I got my first mp3 player (which lasted for 6-7 years) with almost 2 years of gifts... And they were some of the best things I've bought... Now that I'm older I just don't get much more presents, but I still mostly ask for cash lol...
  • A comment on Conversation: What's your favorite computer game?

Dec 11 2012: I've been playing Borderlands 2 for the last 2 months with friends... So that might be my favourite now... But all time favourite I'll have to vote on GoldenEye 64! :D
  • A reply on Conversation: What one feature would you love to see added to TED.com?

Dec 11 2012: You do know you have other alternatives to Kickstarter like Indiegogo that aren't limited to the US and the UK right?!?

A comment on Conversation: Before I die I want to...

Dec 11 2012: Before I die I will make a difference. (Sorry but I had to change the sentence a bit).
  • A comment on Conversation: Natural at home childbirth

Dec 11 2012: I'm of the opinion that there isn't anything resembling synthetic childbirth yet...
  • A comment on Conversation: Your Idea: A Weapon that creates Peace

Dec 11 2012: What you want can't be done... The closest thing you can have that would be to have a worldwide education system that would limit misunderstandings...
But if you get the most distructull power in the world and give it to everyone, that would limit the will each entity would would have to destroy their opponent since they would do the same back to them...
  • A reply on Conversation: Has anyone ever thought about the fact that no one can live in the present?

Aug 13 2012: What happens is that you're looking at the past, and when you know the fireworks have started you're seeing something that has already happened. The further away you are the more you notice the delay because of the speed of sound on the atmosphere.
  • A comment on Conversation: The teachers' salary is the key of increasing the education quality?

Jul 26 2012: No, even if more money can raise the chance of getting better teachers, good teachers can't do much with horrible curriculum. It's just too hard of an equation to only consider one variable as enough.
But one thing is for sure, even if it can help, the money being spent on raises could be spent elsewhere with faster and better results.
  • A comment on Conversation: homosexual marriage

Jul 26 2012: I remember a comment I read or heard (I don't remember how It got in my head lol) which was, don't homosexual people pay the same taxes as heterosexual people? This argument pretty much sums up how useless all the discussion about the topic is.
PS: I'm just talking about getting homosexual marriage legal in the eyes of the government, I don't care about all those other eyes.
