Nov 17 2012: There are still girls around the world who are too poor to purchase sanitary pads and are still using cloth. This is something they really need.

A comment on Talk: Lesley Hazleton: On reading the Koran

Nov 16 2012: From my understanding, only the pure hearted will benefit from reading the Quran or listening to Quranic verses. A muslim can't even touch the Quran without first carrying out the wudhu' (cleansing ritual) obligatory also before the 5 times daily prayers.

Ms Lesley Hazleton has been blessed with such deep understanding of the Quran and the Prophet's life, which sadly many Muslims take for granted hence losing the happiness in their lives.

There are many other videos online of people who fell in love with the sounds of the Quranic verses (in Arabic) and the prayer call. Nothing can explain that because this is the work of the Almighty God.

This TED video has somewhat renewed my passion to read, understand and treasure the Quran.

Sincerely thankful to the TED organisers and the speaker who has brought out the beauty of the Quran.
