More About Me

I'm passionate about

Self discovery, buddhist thought, meditation, interbeing, poetry, yoga, photography, native forests and bush, waterfalls and streams, finding silence in the midst of the cacophany of the world.

An idea worth spreading

It all starts within. Self discovery, the abandonment of our socially conditioned persona's - the abandonment of self, to discover that which we truly are. Within this journey, this path, lies the truth which nourishes that which we call soul.

Talk to me about

Creating a sangha here in Christchruch. Self discovery. Buddhist thought. Interbeing.

A comment on Conversation: What is the most important goal for humanity to pursue?

Apr 30 2012: I can't help but wonder what is the point of knowing God if we do not first know ourselves? For without knowing ourselves, who then would 'know' God?
  • A comment on Conversation: Does Anything 'Become' Something?

Apr 18 2012: You call it a butterfly. What if we were to call it the clouds, sunshine, or water that made possible the leaf the caterpillar ate to 'become'. It would still in the moment of it's being, be all it is.
  • A comment on Conversation: What is the most important goal for humanity to pursue?

Apr 17 2012: Lovely Francesco Amati. Self discovery - self enquiry and relentless questioning of what we believe to 'be'. To unearth that which we truly are, to throw off the socially conditioned roles we have blindly adopted and cling to in an effort to be 'someone', for in that very act we deny ourselves our true existence. Walking this path leads to the discovery of many truths that once unveiled, can never be again hidden. A humanity that understands itself, that see's beyond illusion, will act with compassion and love creating a global community.
