Apr 12 2012: They say he is a math genius because he can recite pi to the bazillionth decimal point. I think he is not particularly very math inclined actually, but rather he has a special conception for abstract representations, numerical or otherwise, symbols and pictures, which is rather personal and arbitrary, but which he uses very well and stimulatingly, not in solving math problems, but rather in communicating linguistic and literary concepts. I'd sit in his language, poetry or writing class.
